UNUSUAL PLANTS AT REASONABLE PRICES IN A PEACEFUL GARDEN SETTING
The Out of Town Nursery stocks an everchanging range of exotic and native plants, the majority of which have been propagated by us from The Humming Garden’s unique collection. Unusual bulbs, shrubs, ground covers and perennials are a feature, with a large range of Salvia species available over the warmer months. Drought hardy succulents are always in good supply, together with frost hardy plants and some interesting water plants. Customers can make informed decisions on plant choice by seeing full grown specimens in the display garden.
We try to have more unusual plants for sale, many that are not available through regular nurseries . Plants are grown out in the “real world” and not under cover so are ready for instant planting. Garden advice is readily given on plant hardiness and suitability for your site.
Advice can also be given on visiting nearby attractions Yeddonba Aboriginal Art Site, ChilternMt Pilot National Park walks, the historic townships of Beechworth , Chiltern , Yackandandah , Stanley and Alpine regions as well as some other interesting local and regional open gardens.
The Out of Town Nursery and Humming Garden are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Public Holidays 9am 5pm (later in warmer months).
